The Ruth Project
Programs
The mission of The Ruth Project is to walk with women in need who
live in the greater Attleboro-Taunton area. Our Resource Center
is located at 481D Old Post Rd., North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
Volunteers at The Ruth Project assist women who have faced issues
of crime, homelessness, and separation from their children, as well
as poverty, addiction, and abuse. We provide comprehensive services
such as mentoring, life skills, and job skills development, as well
as affordable housing plans, to allow women in need to face and
overcome the issues in front of them. Women in need may receive
any of the following programs at our Resource Center:
Life Skills Program, including:
o Discovering our Worth
o Communication
o Parenting
o Time Management
o Conflict Resolution
o Forgiveness
o Healthy Relationships and Boundaries
o From Recovery to Restoration Program
Job Skills Programs, including:
o Vocational Assessments
o Career Matches
o Job Searches
o Job Postings
o Resume Writing
o Interviewing Techniques
o Workplace Behavior
o Budgeting and Financial Management
Mentoring
Program
Affordable Housing Plans Program
The Ruth Project provides a directory of affordable housing
resources available within the county as well as statewide. We provide
direct assistance in preparing and submitting housing applications
for women in need of shelter.
Mentoring and Re-entry Program
The Ruth Project operates a Mentoring and Re-entry Program
in cooperation with the Dartmouth House of Corrections Women's Center.
